dark-chocolate-covered-almond-mainYou might have seen dark chocolate almonds at the store, but the store-bought ones are often full of all kinds of junk to give them that perfectly-even, glossy outside. If you’re willing to sacrifice the mass-produced uniformity and polished glossiness, you can very easily get all the flavor without any of the junk, all in your own kitchen.

  • 8 oz. dark chocolate;
  • 2 cup. unsalted raw almonds;
  • Sea salt;

Melt the chocolate in a double boiler over medium heat, stirring until fully melted.
Stir the almonds into the chocolate, and toss until well coated.
Place the chocolate covered almonds onto a parchment covered baking sheet.
Sprinkle almonds with sea salt, and set aside until the chocolate is set.
Store in the refrigerator until ready to eat.
